While I was struggling with this border, my friend DeathRose asked me to read a web page she had just finished. There I learned of Patrick's death. I wept as I read Dea's tribute to him ... and when I went back to work on the border, which I had named "Peace" even before hearing that Simmy, as I knew him, had died, I knew just how to finish it - in honor of him.

Simmy, you were loved. I rejoice that I knew you, and that you are no longer in pain. I wish you peace on the far side of the bridge.
